This class is designed to give campers an exciting "taste" of cooking "on an open fire." Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are made from scratch, cooked on tin cans, tin foil, skillets, sticks, and grills. Examples include Doughboys, fried eggs on Buddy Burners, Sloppy Joes with our secret, homemade BBQ sauce, chicken shish-ka-bobs, grilled fish, pan fried potatoes, and fried pies. Yum Yum!!Safety, proper fire building, preparation and clean-up are stressed throughout each class period. Many campers enthusiastically try these experiences during their own family camping.
